Witchsey is a purpose-driven, spiritually aligned marketplace dedicated to fostering safe, respectful, and ethical exchanges between metaphysical artisans, practitioners, and seekers. These Community Guidelines apply to all individuals using Witchsey—including vendors, buyers, visitors, and forum participants—and are a binding extension of our Terms of Use.
Violation of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, permanent bans, or referral to legal authorities when applicable.
1. Respectful Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy
Witchsey is an inclusive spiritual community. We uphold the right of all members to engage in commerce and community without fear of discrimination, harassment, or abuse.
Prohibited Conduct:
-
Harassment, intimidation, threats, or abuse of any kind (verbal, written, energetic, or symbolic).
-
Hate speech, including derogatory or dehumanizing comments based on race, ethnicity, color, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, age, disability, or nationality.
-
Discriminatory conduct or microaggressions in listings, communications, or shop policies.
-
Targeted spiritual, religious, or metaphysical shaming or proselytizing.
-
Stalking, doxxing, or attempts to obtain personal information of another user without their consent.
Witchsey reserves the right to immediately remove accounts that promote hate groups, violent ideologies, or extremist metaphysical narratives that cause harm.
2. Authentic, Legal, and Culturally Respectful Content
Witchsey honors the sacred roots of metaphysical practice and is committed to ethical, non-exploitative spiritual commerce.
Requirements for Product Listings:
-
All products must fall within metaphysical, spiritual, energetic, or esoteric traditions (e.g., tarot, reiki tools, herbs, altar goods, ritual services, astrology tools).
-
Vendors may not sell:
-
Counterfeit items or plagiarized designs.
-
Illegally sourced herbs, crystals, or animal products.
-
Regulated or restricted substances (e.g., endangered plant species, banned materials).
-
Human remains or spiritual services involving harmful or predatory claims.
-
-
Vendors must avoid cultural appropriation, defined as the sale or representation of sacred practices or items from cultures they do not belong to or have not been authorized to represent.
-
Services involving indigenous ceremonies, closed practices, or religious sacraments must be offered only by individuals qualified through lineage, consent, or formal initiation.
Witchsey may request verification of a vendor's authority or qualifications to sell or represent certain spiritual tools, lineages, or rituals.
3. Communication Standards and Public Interaction
Every user is expected to engage in all interactions—whether public (forums, reviews) or private (messages, shop responses)—with integrity, maturity, and spiritual professionalism.
The Following Are Prohibited:
-
Spam, mass messaging, or unsolicited promotional content.
-
Soliciting users to external platforms or services.
-
Profanity, vulgarity, or inflammatory language.

Medical, legal, or psychological advice unless properly licensed and clearly disclosed as such.
-
False or exaggerated claims about metaphysical effectiveness (e.g., “guaranteed results,” “cure cancer with this crystal”).
-
Passive-aggressive behavior, manipulative messaging, or intimidation.
Reviews and feedback should reflect honest experiences and not be used as tools for coercion or retaliation.
4. Integrity in Representation
Users must present themselves and their offerings honestly.
-
Vendors must disclose whether items are handcrafted, vintage, or commercially sourced.
-
Shops offering readings, coaching, or spiritual counseling must clearly state the scope and limits of their services.
-
Sellers must not impersonate, plagiarize, or falsely represent identities (including false claims of initiations, lineage, tribal membership, or professional certification).
